This is a perfect example of a pipeline company not paying just and fair compensation.   They offer the landowner $400,000 and when he asks to be paid a fair amount, they drop their offer to slightly more than $20,000.  This should not be permitted under Texas condemnation law and is an abuse of eminent domain power.
